Why it’s interesting
Home Frequency turns a lighthouse night watch into careful listening and chart work. You never pilot a rescue boat or leave the desk. Instead, an old receiver pulls six lost vessels out of storm static. Callers describe bells, surf over shoals, fog signals, and the sweep of your own light. Each distance becomes an arc on the chart; you move a fix until those arcs and a bearing agree. Only then should you transmit a course, because crews will trust it and the sandbank really is where the chart says it is.
How to try it
Open the creator page and choose Run game. In a signed-out browser we verified the embedded launch and active game frame. Everything uses the mouse: tune the frequency, move the plotted fix, and click the response. Sound contains essential clues, so headphones help. There is no timer, leaving room to check each position. Six contacts run from late evening to dawn, while the logbook records your calls and becomes the final ending page.
Requirements and sources
The game is free, needs no account or installation, and Arowx released it on September 12, 2026. The creator discloses AI assistance in code, graphics, sound, and text. Fictional content includes storm peril, drowning risk, a child in danger, and grief; it offers no real rescue advice or real-person imagery. The official 1152 by 864 lighthouse cover is used only for identification and the entry follows the jam asset-rights rule.
